Dr. Lifrieri was retained by Slowinski Atkins, a prominent NJ Legal Firm to provide expert opinions with respect to a professional negligence claim that their client is pursuing against a remediation contractor. Dr. Lifrieri was asked to provide expert consulting services and forensic technical support to the law firm and their client with regard to the losses sustained by their client as a result of the failure of performance by the Environmental Remediation Contractor under an assigned contract, for a guaranteed remediation of the Octagon property for a “Not-to-Exceed Cost” (“NTE”) or specified fee.
